Golf Re-Start Guidelines

Posted July 2, 2020

We will be using tee times instead of shotguns to facilitate social distancing.

  • Starting on both 9 nines at 6:30 AM
  • Maximum field of 112, so latest tee time is 8:21 AM
  • Golf Genius will attempt to equalize early/late starts for players except:
    • If playing, the Event Manager will be in first tee time so he can collect cards afterwards
    • If playing, the Prize Fund collector will be in last tee time

  • All players must check-in at the Pro Shop south door Not Later Than 10 minutes before their tee time
  • A Board member will be collecting the $5 prize fund at a table outside the Pro Shop starting at 6:15 AM.  Please bring exact change or a check for $5 made out to QCMGA.  No change will be made. Earlier tee times have priority in line
  • Scorecards will be distributed at the prize fund collection table
  • Players should wear a mask or face covering during check-in and prize fund payment

  • All players must have their own cart.  Players needing a rental cart must contact the Pro Shop the day before play
  • Unique event format rules will be printed on the back of the scorecard
  • The pin will be left in for all putts
  • All putts for scores that count in the event must be holed unless it’s a net double bogey
  • The ball may be moved out of footprints or divots in bunkers and placed within a club length no nearer the hole

  • A scorecard collection bin will be on the table outside the Pro Shop
  • The Event Manager may also be at the table
  • The prize fund will be turned over to the QCMGA Treasurer who will write a check to the Pro Shop (distribution of prize money to members accounts may take up to 2 weeks)

Let’s play golf, have fun, and stay safe out there.
