Congratulations to fellow QCMGA golfer Doug McClune for scoring a Hole In One on Wednesday December 18, 2024. It was reported that Doug shot the HIO on Roadrunner #6 with a 7 iron at a distance of 154 yards and his playing partners were Susan McCune and Lyle Weaver. Way to go Doug!!!
Quoting him, “The information contained in your email is correct with regard to date, course and playing partners. The pin that day was “middle/middle”, so it was pretty accessible. This HIO was my second career HIO (embarrassed by the fact that I have played over 40 years and only have one other). This was my first HIO at Quail Creek. A great day for playing golf was made even more special playing with my wife (Susan) and her cousin (visiting us for the holidays). I have played hundreds of rounds with both of them over the years and was glad they were there as my witness”.
