Congratulations to fellow QCMGA Member Mitch Matheys for scoring a Hole In One on Quail #8 on Tuesday October 20, 2026. Way to go Mitch!!!
Quoting him, “I hit the hole in one on October 20th, 2026 on Quail #8 using a 9 iron from 126 yards while playing in the QCMGA two man best ball event. The pin was located in the lower left portion of the green approximately 10 yards over the bunker. The shot landed about 6 inches from the hole before rolling in. Witnesses were my playing partner Bob Laurine and our competitors Dennis Pechan and Dale Backus. This was my first career hole in one after golfing for nearly 60 years. I’ve been an annual member of Quail Creek and a member of the QCMGA for four years.”
