Election Candidate Statement – Russell E. Adamson, Jr
I am interested in continuing for another term on the QCMGA Board and would appreciate your support.
I have served two terms on the QCMGA Board. I am currently the Secretary. I have also served on men’s boards at two previous clubs, holding positions as Secretary, Rules, Tournaments and Handicap chairman. I was President of one of the Membership Associations and Treasurer of the other. I owned and operated a travelling club of 40 members playing monthly events at courses throughout Northern California.
As a volunteer for the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) and the Arizona Golf Association (AGA), I have forty-one years (41) experience as a Course Rater and thirty-two years (32) as a Rules Certified Tournament Official.
For QCMGA, I participated in the AGA rerating of the golf course, the reallocation of handicap strokes project and the annual revision/addition of local rules. I currently serve on the Rules Committee, the Handicap Committee, and, as a tournament manager, on the Tournament Committee.

Election Candidate Statement – Clark Anderson
My interest in being on the QCMGA board stems from a long history of being involved in the game I love. From coaching high school golf to serving 13 years on my Golf Club’s Board and 11 years as its President, from memberships on the QC Greens Committee to an advisory group to the QC Director of Golf, I have sought to be a positive influence wherever I have played the game.
My goals have varied with the manner in which I have been involved. As a coach, I worked to get my players to understand the discipline and integrity demanded by the game. As a board member and club president, I stressed the importance of working together to provide the best golf experience we could for our members and a positive work atmosphere for our employees. At QC, I got involved first to become familiar with our club and courses, and then to find ways I could be a positive club member.
The QCMGA makes Tuesdays a very good golf day, organizes special events that are class acts, and works to protect the integrity of the game by expecting members to play by the rules and respect one another. I have enjoyed being involved in and would like to continue to contribute and be involved in QCMGA Board initiatives.

Election Candidate Statement – Dick Del Fava
My name is Dick Del Fava, and I would like to continue serving you on the Board of the MGA. I am a lifelong golfer, starting when I was a mere 4 years old.
During those years, I have played competitively and for relaxation. As I started to advance in age, I got involved in serving on boards, such as The Golf Club at Bear Dance in Larkspur, Colorado. My duties ran from building a very primitive website back in the early 2000’s, setting schedules in conjunction with the pro shop. I was also involved in setting up “home and home” tournaments with other men’s clubs in the area such as the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Black Bear Golf Club in Parker, and Plum Creek in Castle Rock.
My business career consisted of work in Operations Management and Logistics.
I was also a small business owner in the printing industry during my “younger days”.
As Membership Chairman for the last 2 years, I have gotten to know many of you and I am asking for your vote to continue working for this excellent group on the QCMGA Board.

Election Candidate Statement – Mark Lindley
I have been a Quail Creek resident and a member of the QCMGA for about 2 years. I’m an avid frustrated (like everyone) golfer who has been playing in some form for many years. I currently serve on the tournament and handicap committees for the QCMGA. Additionally, I have been able to support the operations of the member-guest tournament for the last couple of years.
I’m originally from Colorado with a long stop in the Chicagoland area. My background is in information technology, starting as a software engineer and moving into technology leadership positions, including serving as VP of technology for several companies. My industry experiences include employee benefits, telecommunications, and fintech.
My goals, if elected or not, are to represent each member’s needs and desires for the organization as best I can. Promote and grow the QCMGA and ensure that events are fun and fair for everyone.
Thanks for your consideration,
Mark Lindley
