QCMGA member Doug Detman (left) received the award plaque from QCMGA President Bill Sheppard (right) after being named QCMGA 2022 Volunteer of the Year during the QCMGA 2022 Annual Meeting held on Tuesday November 15th. Doug joined QCMGA in 2015 and since then he has been actively supporting QCMGA and the Quail Creek golfing community in multiple ways. His list of volunteer activities include:
- QCMGA Tournament and Rules Chairman
- Held Secretary, Vice Chairman, and Chairman positions on the Green Committee
- QC Golf Genius Account Representative and Trainer
- QC Golf Course Renovation Task Force Member
