Congratulations to fellow QCMCA Member Mark Schmidt for scoring a Hole In One on Quail #8 on Friday August 14, 2026. Way to go Mark!!!
Quoting him, “The information provided in the Reading The Green publication is correct. The HIO was on Quail #8, and I used a 9 iron at a distance of 135 yards. My witnesses were Bob Laurine, Dave Erickson, and Doug McNeil. This was my first HIO at Quail Creek, and in the State of Arizona where I have lived for the past 4 years. This was my 3rd HIO lifetime, the other two came in the State of Washington. I feel very blessed to get the HIO on one of the finer signature holes on the Quail Creek Golf Course.
